AN ORDI~IANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR TF~ CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGI~INING OCTOBER
1, 1983, AND MqDING SEPTt~ER 30, 1984, PRO-
VIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND ~'E'~CTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City ~lnager has prepared and submitted a budget of
revenues and expenditures of the City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1983, and ending September 30, 1984, in accordance with
the Charter of the City of Sanford, Florida, and upon consideration thereof,
said budget of revenues and expenditures was adopted and approved as the
budget of said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983, and ending
September 30, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the City Comnission of the City of Sanford, Florida, is of
the opinion that the several items of espenditures for said fiscal year begin-
ning October 1, 1983, and. ending September 30, 1984, are reasonable, necessary
and proper for the administration of the affairs of said City and the proper
conduct of said City.
NCX~, T~IEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That said budget of revenues and expenditures of said
City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983, and
ending September 30, 1984, approved by Resolution of the City Conmission of
the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 26th day of September, A.D. 1983, a copy
of which is attached hereto and hereby made a part of this Ordinance, be and
the same is hereby ratified, confirmed. accepted and adopted.
SECTION 2: That the said estimates of expenditures, be and they
are hereby established and fixed as appropriations frc~ the revenues to be
derived by said City of Sanford, Florida. from taxes to be levied and collected,
from all other sources, for the various purposes as set forth in said estimates
for the said period beginning October 1, 1983, and ending September 30, 1984.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance
proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to
invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or
part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: That the effective date of this Ordinance shall be
October 1~ 1983.

RESOLUTION NO. 1363
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COYMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLOPsIDA, ADOPTING A BUDSE~ OF FL~VENbYS
AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1983, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1984, AND CAPIqlAL BUDGET.
~tEREAS, in accordance with Article VI of the Cbsrter,as amended,
of the Ci.~y of Sanford, Florida, the City Manager of the City of Sanford,
Florida, has made and submitted to the City Conmission of t]~e city of Sanford,
Florida, an estimate for budget of revenues and expenditures of the city of
Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983, and ending
September 30, 1984, and a Capital budget, such estimates or budget having
been made with particular application to the various departmants of the City,
a tr~e copy of which is hereto attached and by reference made a part of this
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, each and every item contained and set forth in said
budgets prepared by the City Mmager has been carefully considered by this
Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CONLMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, that said budget, as prepared and submitted by
the City M~nager to the City Commission, be and the same is hereby adopted
as the budget for the City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1983, and ending September 30, 1984; and the Capital budget as
prepared and submitted by the City ~bnager to the City Conmission, be and
the s~Ke is hereby adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, upon collection of any revenues of
said City, the City Clerk shall allocate from each dollar collected and
received, the several amounts to ~e respective funds for purposes for which
the same are hereby authorized and approved.
BE IT FURYHE~ RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become effec-
tive as of the first day of October, 1983.
