AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT
CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT CER-
TAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN COUNTRY CLUB ROAD
AND WEST 25TH STREET AND BETWEEN THE SEABOARD
COAST LINE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY AND HARDY
AVENUE FROM RC~i (RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL)
DISTRICT TO GC~2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the
location and use of buildings, structures, land and water
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and
the same is hereby amended as follows: That the real pro-
perty described as follows:
Section 35, Township 19 South, Range 30
East: Begin intersection South line Country
Club Road and East line of southwest one-
quarter of southwest one-quarter of south-
east one-quarter, run West on road 125 feet,
South 125 feet, East 125 feet, thence run
North to Beginning;
be and the same is hereby rezoned from RC-1 (Restricted
Commercial) District to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or a portion of a section
of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconsti-
tutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the
validity, force or effect of any section or part of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordin-
ances in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
