ORDINANCE NO. 1586
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 1568 WHICH WAS PASSED
SEPTEMBER 14, 1981 SAID ORDINANCE ANNEXING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING
BETWEEN COUNTRY CLUB ROAD AND CR 46A (25TH STREET)
AND WEST OF AIRPORT BOULEVARD; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 14, 1981, Ordinance No. 1568
was adopted annexing within the corporate area of the City of
Sanford, Florida, a portion of that certain property lying
between Country Club Road and CR 46A (25th Street) and west of
Airport Boulevard, Seminole County, Florida;. and
WHEREAS, further investigation reveals that the
parcel is not contiguous to the City of Sanford, Florida,
and is therefore ineligible for annexation; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1568 which was passed
September 14, 1981, annexing within the corporate area of the
City of Sanford, Florida, a portion of that certain property
lying between Country Club Road and CR 46A (25th Street) and
west of Airport Boulevard, Seminole County, be and the same is
hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section
of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitu-
tional~ it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity,
force or effect of any section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
