1576 ORDINANCE NO. 1576
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLQRIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097, SAID ORDINANCE
BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING REGULATION OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, PROVIDING'AJDE-
FINITION OF '~MINI-WAREHOUSE"; PROVIDING OFF-
STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December il, 1972, said
Ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Regulation of the
City of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the
location and use of buildings, structures, land and water for
trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same is
hereby amended to provide a definition of "Mini-warehouse"
as follows:
Article II, #71 Mini-warehouse - A warehouse building
which is divided into individual rental spaces or bays,
to be rented to the public for personal storage pur-
poses only, none of which spaces or bays will exceed
400 sq. ft.
SECTION 2: That Article VI, Section 2, of Ordinance
No. 1097, is amended to provide off-street parking requirements
as follows:
Article VI, Section 2.
#24 The off-street parking requirements for mini-
warehouses shall be asfollows: Three (3) parking
spaces for each 25,000 sq. ft. of storage space.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of
this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional,
it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force
or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
