1575 ORDINANCE NO. 15 75
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A~NDING SECTION 2-5.1 OF THE SANFORD CODE TO
PERMIT TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR CITY OFFICIALS AND
EMPLOYEES TO BE PAID AS PROVIDED BY THE GENERAL
LAWS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY~ CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 2-5.1 of the Sanford Code is here-
by amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-5.1 Travel Expenses for city officials
and employees.
Payment for per diem, mileage and meals for officials
and employees shall be in such amounts as are provided
by the general laws of the State of Florida as they now
exist and as they may be amended in the future.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional,
it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validy, force
or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
