AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT
CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT CER-
TAIN PROPERTY LYING NORTH OF AND ABUTTING LAKE
MARY BOULEVARD AND BETWEEN SIR LAWRENCE DRIVE
AND ART LANE FROM SR-1 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDEN-
TIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT TO MR-1 (MULTIPLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT; PRO-
VIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City
of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location
and use of buildings, structures, land and water for trade,
industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same is here-
by amended as follows: That the real property described as
follows:
Commence at the S 1/4 corner of Section 10,
Township 20 South, Range 30 East, Seminole
County, Florida, thence run N 00°31'24" E
50.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said
point also being on the North right-of-way
line of Lake Mary Boulevard. Thence run N
89°35'42"W along said right-of-way 221.77
feet; thence run N 417.59 feet; thence run
East along the South line of Groveview
Village as recorded in Plat Book 19, Pages
4, 5, and 6, Public Records of Seminole
County, a distance of 784.90 feet; thence
run N 00°43'06'' E 71.46 feet; thence run
S 61027'00" E 113.08 feet; thence run S
00°43'06" W 447.30 feet; thence run N
89°04'09" W 657.84 feet to the Point of
Beginning. Said parcel containing 9.32
acres, more or less.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from SR-1 (Single-Family
Residential Dwelling) District to MR-1 (Multiple-Family Resi-
dential Dwelling) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or a portion of a section
of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity,
force, or effect of any section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
