AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID~CITY, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A 'ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT
CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT CER-
TAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN AIRPORT BOULEVARD
AND CORNWALL ROAD AND BETWEEN SANFORD AVENUE
AND MELLONVILLE AVENUE FROM PUD (PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL)
DISTRICT, AND MR-2 (MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
..DWELLING) DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. ~
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY.~0F SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being thelComprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City
of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location
and use of buildings, structures, land and water for trade,
industry, residence or other purposes be and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
The Westerly 936.42 feet of the North 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 of Section 7, TownShip 20 South, Range 31
East, lying West of the Westerly R/W of the SCL
Railroad; less the Southerly 249.78 feet thereof;
and also less R/W for Sanford Avenue and Airport
BouleVard,
be and the same is hereby rezonedfrom PUD (Planned Unit Develop-
ment) District to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 1097 is further amended
as follows:
The North 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 7, Township
20 South, Range 31 East, lying West of the Westerly
R/W of the SCL Railroad; l~ss the Westerly 936.42
feet thereof; less R/W for Airport Boulevard,
be and the same is hereby rezoned from PUD (Planned Uni~ Develop-
ment) to MR-2 (Multiple-Family Residential Dwelling) District.
SECTION 3: If any section or a portion of a section
of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-z
tionai, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall become effective
iranediately upon its passage and adoption.
