1532 ORDINANCE NO. 1532
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FROM THE ANTICIPATED REVENUES TO BE
RECEIVED FROM THE REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, DURING THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1980 AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1981, PROVIDING FOR
SEVEP~BILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted a
proposed budget of anticipated revenues and suggested appro-
priations relative to anticipated revenue to be received from
the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund of the United States of America
during the fiscal year which begins October 1, 1980, and ends
September 30, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Commissioners of the City of Sanford,
Florida, are of the opinion'that the several items of recom-
mended expenditures for said fiscal year are reasonable,
necessary and proper for the administration of the affairs
of the City of Sanford; and
WHEREAS, appropriate public hearings have been held for
consideration of the proposed budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the proposed budget of anticipated
revenues and appropriations to be received from the Revenue
Sharing Trust Fund of the United States of America during
the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1980 and ending Septem-
ber 30, 1981, be and the same is hereby ratified, approved,
confirmed, accepted, and adopted; that a copy of the proposed
budget is attached hereto and hereby made a part of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitu-
tional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the
validity, force or effect of any other section or part of
this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That the effective date of this Ordinance
shall be retroactive to October 1, 1980.
