O~INiNCE NO. 1522 .AN ORDIN~aJ~CE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA VACATING THAT CERTAIN PLAT OF RIDGEWOOD ESTATES RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 20, PAGE 95, PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, SAID PLAT LYING SOUTH OF TERRACE DRIVE AND BETWEEN RIDGEWOOD AVENUE AND GEORGIA AVENUE IN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the owner of that certain real property con- sisting of the plat of Ridgewood Estates, described hereinafter, applied with the City of Sanford, Florida its application to have said plat vacated so that the property described therein could revert to acreage for a different development of the prop- erty, from that which was contemplated at the time of the original plat, and, WHEREAS, apublic hearing was held on August 18, 1980, for consideration and determination as to whether or not the vacating of the plat should be allowed, and the City.Commission having found that none of the streets situated within the plat have been opened to the use of the public, and that there has been no development on the property situated within the plat, and, WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the vacating of said plat conforms to the Comprehensive Plan of the City'of Sanford, Florida, and that the public health, economy, safety, comfort, order, convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such vacating, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORE, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That certain plat of Ridgewood Estates, recorded in Plat Book 20, Page 95, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, be and the same is hereby vacated, and all of the property situated within said plat is reverted to acreage, said property including the streets situated therein. FL~ SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unIaw£ul or unconstitutionai, it shai1 not be heid to invalidate or impair the validity, £orce or effect of any other section or pa=t of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: Aii ordinances or parts of ordinances i~ confl±ct herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: This O~dinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
