CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING PORTIONS OF ~,~
WATER STREET, FULTON STREET, COMMERCIAL STREET,
;: OLEANDER AVENUE, JESSAMINE AVENUE AND A PAREWAY
SITUATED NORTH OF WATER STREET, ALL OF SAID
~.li~v ~/ STREETS BEING LOCATED NORTH OF WEST FIRST STREET,
WEST OF NORTH MANGOUSTINE AVENUE, EAST OF MUL-
BERRY AVENUE, AND SOUTH OF SEMINOLE BOULEVARD;
RESERVING THE USE OF SAME UNTO THE CITY OF ~"~
SANFORD, FLORIDA FOR UTILITY PURPOSES, PROVIDING '
FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1, Portions of the streets and parkway
described above are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as
public streets in the City of Sanford, Florida, the exact
portions of said streets being described as follows:
1. Commercial Avenue right-of-way between
the West right of way line of Oleander
Avenue and the East right-of-way line
of Mulberry Avenue and
2. Fulton Avenue right-of-way between the
West right-of-way line of Mangoustine
Avenue and the East right-of-way line
of Mulberry Avenue and
3. Water Street right-of-way between the
West right-of-way line of Mangoustine
Avenue and the East right-of-way line of
Mulberry Avenue and
4, The eight foot parkway, approximately
264 feet North of Water Street, running
East and West, from the West right-of-way
line of Mangoustine Avenue to the east
right-of-way line of Jessamine Avenue and
5. The Oleander Avenue right-of-way from
the south right-of-way line of Commercial
Avenue to the North right-of-way line of
the eight foot parkway running East and
West from Mangoustine Avenue to Jessamine
Avenue and
6~ The Jessamine Avenue right-of-way from
the South right-of-way line of Commercial
Street to the North right-of-way line of
the East-West parkway 264 feet North of
Water Street,
SECTION 2. The City of Sanford, Florida does hereby
disclaim for itself and the public all interest in the above
described streets, reserving the use of same unto the City
of Sanford, Florida for utility purposes, providing for
severability, conflicts and effective date.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall become
effective i~ediately upon its passage and adoption.
