1516 ORDINANCE NO. 1516
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY,
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF THAT PORTION
OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING NORTH OF AND
ABUTTING LAKE MARY BOULEVARD AND BETWEEN ART
LANE AND HIDDEN LAKE DRIVE FROM SR-1AA (SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO RC-1 (RESTRICTED
EOMMERCIAL) DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City
of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and
use of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
A portion of that certain property lying
north of and abutting Lake Mary Boulevard
and between Art Lane and Hidden Lake Drive
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning atothe northeast corner of Loto25,
run South 11 East 973.14 geet, South 73 54'
West 241.84 feSt, South 84 59' 57" West 208.71
feet, South 11 East 417.42 feSt to Point of
Beginning; theBce run North 11 West 208.71
feet, North 84 59' 57"East 208.71 feet,
South 11 East 208.71 feet, Southwesterly to
Point of Beginning, Lake Minnie Estates, Plat
Book 6, page 92 of the Public Records of
Seminole County, Florida,
be and the same is hereby rezoned from SR-1AA
(Single Family Residential) District to RC-1
(Restricted Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional,
it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force
or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
