1496 ORDINANCE NO. 1496
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097 OF SAID CITY,
SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID
AMENDMENT CHANGING THE ZONING OF THAT PORTION
OF PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN CELERY AVENUE AND
EAST 14TH STREET AND BETWEEN LOCUST AVENUE
AND CYPRESS AVENUE FROM MR-1 (MULTIPLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL D~CELLING ) DISTRICT TO GC-2 (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance Nol 1097 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 11, 1972, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use
of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry,
residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as
follows:
Lots 6 and 8, Block A, and Lots 2, 4, 5, 6, 7
and 8, Block B, and Lots 1 through 8, Block C,
and Lots 1, 3, 5, and 7, Block D, CELERY AVENUE
ADDITION, according to the Plat thereof, as
recorded in Plat Book 1, page 125, of the Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida.
be and the same is hereby rezoned fromMR-1
(Multiple-Family Residential Dwelling)District
to GC-2 (General Commercial) District.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional,
it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
