AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
~IAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER
1, 1979 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1980, PROVID-
ING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE
DATE.
~EREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted a
budget of r~venues and expendituresof the Cityof~Sanford, Florida,
for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1979 and ending September
30, 1980, in accordance with the Charter of the C~ty of Sanford,
Florida, and upon consideration thereof, said budget of revenues
and expenditures was adopted and approved as the budget of said
City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1979 and ending
September 30, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City Commissioners of the City of Sanford,
Florida, are of the opinion that the several items of expenditures
for said fiscal year beginning October 1, 1979 and ending September
30, 1980, are reasonable, necessary and proper for the administration
of the affairs of said City and the proper conduct of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That said budget of revenues and expenditures
of said City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1979 and ending September 30, 1980, approved by Resolution
of the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 10th
day of September , A. D., 1979, a copy of which is attached hereto
and hereby made a part of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby
ratified, approved, confirmed, accepted and adopted.
SECTION 2: That the said estimates of expenditures be
and they are hereby established and fixed as appropriations from
the revenues to be delivered by said City of Sanford, Florida, from
taxes to be levied and collected, and from all other sources, for
the various purposes as set forth in said estimates for the said
period beginning October 1, 1979 and ending September 30, 1980.
SECTION 3: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional,
it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: That this ordinance shall become effective
October 1, 1979.

1979.

BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1979 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 19801 AND CAPITAL BUDGET
~EREAS, in accordance width Article VX of the Charter,
as amended. of the City of Senford. Florida0 the City M~nager
of the City of Sanford0 Florida. has made and submitted to the
City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida. an estimate for
budget of revenues and expenditures of the City of Sanford.
Florida, for the fiscal year beginnin~ October 1, 1979 end
ending September 30, 1980, and a Capital budget, such estimates
or budget having been made with particular application to the
various departments of =he City, a true copy of which is hereto
attached and by reference made a part of this Resolution; and
IVHEREAS, each and every 1.tam contained and set forth in
said budgets prepared by the City Manager has been carefully
considered by this Co~ssion.
NOI4, THEREFORE, BE IT RES. OLVED by the City Commission of
the City of Sanford, Florida, =hat said budget as prepared and
submitted by the City Manager Co the City Commission be and the
same is hereby adopted as .the budget for the City of Sanford,
Florida, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1979 and ending
September 30, 1980; and the(Capital budget as prepared and submitted
by the City Manager to the City Commission be and the same is hereby
adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon collection of any revenues
of said City, the City Clerk shall allocate from each dollar
collected and received, the several amounts to the respective funds
for purposes for which the same are hereby authorized and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become
effective as of the first dayof October, A. D., 1979.
