AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
~IAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FROM THE ANTICIPATED REX~NUES TO BE
RECEIVED FROM THE REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AIvfERICA, DURING THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1979 AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1980, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS ~qD EFFECTIVE DATE.
I'~EREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted a
proposed budget of anticipated revenues and suggested appropriations
relative to anticipated revenue to be received from the Revenue
Sharing Trust Fund of the United States of America during the fiscal
year which begins October 1, 1979 and ends September 30, 1980; and
T~MEP~AS, the City Commissioners of the City of Sanford,
Florida, are of the opinion that the several items of recommended
expenditures for said fiscal year are reasonable, necessary and
proper for the administration of the affairs of the City of Sanford;
and
I~MEPIAS, appropriate public hearings have been held for
consideration of the proposed budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the proposed budget of anticipated
revenues and appropriations to be received from the Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund of the United States of America during the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1979 and ending September 30, 1980, be and the
same is hereby ratified, approved, confirmed, accepted and adopted;
that a copy of the proposed budget is attached hereto and hereby
made a part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional,
it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or
effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

1979.
