AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A~INDING THE BUDGET FOR THE ANTI-RECESSION
FISCAL AID PROGRA2~ OF THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA, PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF
SANFORD ONSEPTEMBER 25, 1978 BY ORDINANCE
NO. 1444 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
OCTOBER 1, 1978 AIqD ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1979;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of San~ord,
Florida, on September 25, 1978 adopted Ordinance No. 1444 which
made appropriations for the City of Sanford from revenue tozbe
received from the Anti-Recession Fiscal Aid Program of the United
States of America during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1978
and ending September 30, 1979; and
~EREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the budget
of anticipated revenues and expenditures adopted in said Ordinance be
amended for the balance of the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1978
and ending September 30, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is of the opinion that the
various items of expenditures proposed for the balance of the fiscal
year are reasonable, necessary and proper for the administration of
the affairs of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the revised anti-recession revenue
budget for the Anti-Recession Fiscal Aid Program reflecting
expenditures for the balance of the fiscal year beginning October 1,
1978 and ending September 30, 1979, be and the same is hereby ratified,
approved, confirmed, accepted and adopted; a copy of the revised budget
being attached hereto and hereby made a part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective
on January 1, 1979.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 26th day of December, A. D.,
1978.
