AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A~/~NDING CHAPTER 28 OF THE SANFORD CITY CODE,
SAID CHAPTER BEING ENTITLED WATER, SEWERS AND
SEWAGE DISPOSAL; SAID AMENDMENT ADOPTING A
REVISED FEE SCHEDULE FOR UTILITY CONNECTION
FEES FOR STRUCTURES CONSTRUCTED PRIOR TO
MARCH 27, 1972; SAID AMENDMENT ADOPTING A
REVISED FEE SCHEDULE FOR UTILITY CONNECTION
FEES FOR STRUCTURES CONSTRUCTED AFTERMARCH 27,
1972; SAID SEWER CONSTRUCTION FEES AND WATER
CONNECTION FEES BEING SET FORTH IN THE FEE
SCHEDULE ATTACHED HERETO AND ~IADE A PART HEREOF;
SAID AMENDMENT PROVIDING FOR UTILITY CONNECTION
FEES TO BE TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT HIGHER TH~ THE
FEE SET FORTH IN THE ATTACHED FEE SCHEDULE FOR
UTILITY CONNECTIONS OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS;
SAID AMENDMENT PROVIDING A REVISED FEE SCHEDULE
FOR DELINQUENT FEES, CONNECTIONS AFTER ORDINARY
WORKING HOURS, TRANSFER FEES AND FEES FOR P~TURN
OF WORTHLESS CHECKS, SAID FEES BEING SET FORTH
SPECIFICALLY IN THE ATTACHED FEE SCHEDULE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BYTHE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 28 of the Sanford City Code,
said chapter being entitled water, sewers and sewage disposal is
hereby amended to adopt that certain revised fee schedule for utility
connection fees for structures constructed prior to March 27, 1972
and for structures constructed after March 27, 1972 which is attached
hereto and made a part of this ordinance as fully and completely
as though the same were set forth in this section.
SECTION 2: That Chapter 28 of the Sanford City Code
is hereby amended as to utility connection fees outside the municipal
limits of the City of Sanford, and said fees are hereby designated to
be twenty-five (25%) percent higher than the fee which is set forth
in the attached fee schedule.
SECTION 3: That Chapter 28 of the Sanford City Code
be and the same is hereby amended to provide for a revised fee
schedule for delinquent fees, utility connections after ordinary
working hours, transfer fees and fees for return of worthless checks
given to the City by utility customers, in accordance with the attached
fee schedule.
SECTION 4: Except as amended herein and as provided
for in the attached fee schedule, Cahpter 28 of the Sanford City
Code shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 5: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6: That this ordinance shall become effective
on the 1st day of January , A. D., 19 79 -
