1445 ORDINANCE NO. 1445
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER
1, 1978 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1979, PROVID-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted
a budget of revenues and expenditures of the City of Sanford,
Florida, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1978 and ending
September 30, 1979, in accordance with the Charter of the City of
Sanford, Florida, and upon consideration thereof, said budget of
revenues and expenditures was adopted and approved as the Budget
of said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1978 and
ending September 30, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Commissioners of the City of Sanford
are of the opinion that the several items of expenditures for said
fiscal year beginning October 1, 1978 and ending September 30, 1979
are reasonable, necessary and proper for the administration of the
affairs of said City~ and the proper conduct of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That said budget of revenues and expenditures
of said City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1978 and ending September 30, 1979, approved by Resolution
of the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 25th
day of September , A. D., 1978, a copy of which is attached
hereto and hereby made a part of this Ordinance, be and the same is
hereby ratified, approved, confirmed, accepted and adopted.
SECTION 2: That the said estimates of expenditures be
and they are hereby established and fixed as appropriations from
the revenues to be delivered by said City of Sanford, Florida, from
taxes to be levied and collected, and from all other sources,
for the various purposes as set forth in said estimates for the
said period beginning October 1, 1978 and ending September 30, 1979.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewi~ be and t~ same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall become effective
October 1, 1978.

SEPTEMBER 30, 1979; AND CAPITAL BUDGET,
PROVIDINC AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
~EREAS, in accordance with Article VI of the Charter,
as amended, of the City of Sanford, Florida, =he City Manager of
the City of Sanford, Florida, has made and submitted to the City
Conmission of the City of Sanford, Florida, an estimate for budget
of revenues and expenditures of the C~-t7 of Sanford, Florida, for
the fiscal year beginnir~ October 1, 1978~ and endin~ September 30,
1979, and a Capital budget, such estimates or budget havln~ been
made with particular application to the various deparments of the
City, a true copy of which is hereto attached and by reference made

is hereby adopted as the budget for the City of Sanford, Florida for

and the Capital budget as prepared and submitted by the City Hanager
to the City Commission be and the same is hareby adopted~
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon collection of any
revenues of said City, the City Clerk shall allocaUe from each
dollar collected and received, the several amounts to =he respective
funds for purposes for which the same are hereby authorized and
approved.
BE IT FL~R RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective as of the first day of October A. D.. 1978.
