1444 ORDINANCE NO. 1444
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FROM REVENUE TO BE RECEIVED FROM THE
ANTIcRECESSION FISCAL AID PROGRAM OF THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, DURING THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1978 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 1979; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida, has been advised that the City of Sanford is entitled to
receive funds from the Treasurer of the United States of America
under the federal Anti-Recession Fiscal Aid Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted
a proposed budget for the expenditures of said funds for the fiscal
year beginning October 1, 1978 and ending September 30, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Commissioners are of the opinion that
the several items of expenditures proposed for the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1978 and ending September 30, 1979, are reason.
able, necessary and proper for the administration of the affairs of
the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA~:
SECTION 1: That the proposed budget of anticipated
revenue from the Treasurer of the United States of America for the
AnticRecession Fiscal Aid Program and the expenditures reconn~ended
in said budget be and the same are hereby ratified, approved,
confirmed, accepted and adopted; a copy of the Proposed budget
befn:=g attached hereto and hereby made a part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

do hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the foregoing Ordi-
