1396 ORDINANCE NO. 1396
AN ORDINANCE OF TIrE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, FROM REVENUE
TO BE RECEIVED FROM THE ANTI-RECESSION
FISCAL AID PROGRAM OF THE UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA, DURING THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING OCTOBER I, 1977, AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 1978.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida, has been ad~zised that the City of Sanford is entitled to rece ive
funds from the Treasurer of the United States of America under the
federal Anti-Recession Fiscal Aid Program, and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submltted
a proposed budget for the expenditures of said funds for the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1977, and ending September 30, 1978, and,
WHEREAS, the City Commissioners are of the opinion that
the several items of expenditures proposed for the fiscal year beginnhng
October 1, 1977, and ending September 30, 1978, are reasonable,
necessary and proper for the administration of the affairs of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the proposed budget of anticipated revenue
in the sum of $61, 810.00 from the Treasurer of the United States of
America for the Anti-Recession Fiscal Aid Program and the expenditures
recommended in said budget be and the same are hereby ratified, approved,
confirmed, accepted and adopted; a copy of the proposed budget being
attached hereto and hereby made a part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the Same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
Lmmediately upon its passage and adoption.
