Agreement for Law Enforcement Dispatching Services — Amendment 2
THIS AMENDMENT is made to that certain Agreement made and entered into on the V day of
October, 2021 between the City of Sanford (SANFORD) and Dennis M. Lemma, Sheriff' on behalf of the
Seminole County Sheriff's Office (SCSO).
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, SANFORD and SCSO entered into the above referenced Agreement on October 1,
2021 for Law Enforcement Dispatching Services; and
WHEREAS, Section 12 of the above referenced Agreement requires all changes to the
Agreement to be in a written document executed by both parties; and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement so as to enable both Parties to continue
to enjoy the mutual benefits it provides.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual understandings and agreements contained
herein, the Parties agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
1. Per the results of the 2023 audit by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Chief Law
Enforcement Official of the agency is required to sign all agreements regarding CJIS information.
This amendment adds the signature of the Chief Law Enforcement Officer to this Agreement.
All provisions of the Agreement for Dispatch Services, except as amended herein, shall remain in
full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties agree to the changes set forth herein, the dates of signature of the
parties notwithstanding, hereafter referred to as Amendment I to the Dispatch Services Agreement
previously entered into by the pariiefi"+' ever 21, 2021.
