EASEMENTS: UTILITIES: No known easements are present on the site. Existing overhead electric and telephone lines are shown. Water mains are known to exist along 29th St. and Carrier Ave., but locations are not certain. Gas lines and sewer lines are present in the vicinity but are not expected to be found at the site. Storm drains are generally known and are shown on the topographic survey. Presence of underground telephone lines or other underground lines is unknown. The Contractor will be required to contact the "Sunshine State One -Call Center" and the City of Sanford Utilities Department, for location of utilities. STRUCTURES IN VICINITY: The nearest existing buildings are old wood -frame buildings east of Carrier Ave. which will be demolished this year to construct the Cargo Building. The future Cargo Building will be approximately 230 ft. east of the proposed fenced area. The existing Airport fuel facility is approximately 250 ft. west. EXISTING TOPOGRAPHY: See attached topographic survey (Sheet 2 of Plans). SOIL TYPES: See Attached SCS Soils Map. 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN: SURFACE WATER ELEVATIONS: This site is well above the 100 year floodplain. There are no permanently ponded bodies of water near the site. The area is well drained by an existing positive drainage system. Page 2 of 4 WETLANDS: There are no wetlands within the site or in the vicinity of the site. EXISTING TREES: There are no existing trees within the construction limits. Except for the south portion which is grassed, the entire site consists of old asphalt pavement and floor slabs from buildings demolished several years ago. Site lighting will consist of six - 30 ft. poles with cutoff -type fixtures. BUILDING FLOOR PLANS, ELEVATIONS: Included on Sheet 3 of Plans. PROPOSED LANDSCAPING. IRRIGATION: Due to the nature of this facility, no landscaping or irrigation are proposed. Grass will be bahia, which requires no irrigation. Due to poor results with grassing by seeding in the previous fuel project, sod will be used. WATER SUPPLY: A 3/4" service is proposed from the 8" water main along 29th Street, to serve the hose bibbs and emergency shower/eyewash. A reduced pressure backflow preventer will be provided. RECLAIMED WATER: No use of reclaimed water is proposed. FIRE PROTECTION: Fire protection will be provided by the City of Sanford Fire Department using existing water supplies. Product will be strictly limited to jet fuel (not Avgas). Tank separation and containment will conform to NFPA-30. WASTEWATER DISPOSAL: Because this facility will be manned on an intermittent basis only and the operators have access to other toilet facilities, no sanitary disposal facilities are required. Page 3 of 4 SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL: The operation of this facility will produce only very limited solid waste which will be handled by the fuel system operator and disposed of in Central Florida Terminals' waste receptacles. No commercial waste collection will be required at this site. STORM DRAINAGE: There will be no modification to the existing stormwater system, except removal of a 12" pipe which is no longer necessary, replacement of two structurally-inadequte inlet tops and installing a culvert across a drive. The project will actually reduce peak stormwater discharge from the site, because stormwater is collected in the diked area and then pumped out at a controlled rate through an oil separator. We are also willing to hold the city harmless" for any revi w comments that may result in a construction change. . (516) 385-9392 No formal rights -of -way have been designated for roads within the airport property. Structure and fence setbacks are in accordance with Sanford Airport Authority (SAA) requirements. Four access drives will be provided, each controlled by a manually -operated gate which will be open only while the facility is attended by an operator. 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN; SURFACE WATER ELEVATIONS: This site is well above the 100 year floodplain. SIGNS: OUTDOOR LIGHTING: Signs will consist principally of warning signs and small owner -identification signs mounted on the chain link fence. Site lighting will consist of six - 30 ft. poles with cutoff -type fixtures. BUILDING FLOOR PLANS. ELEVATIONS: Included on Sheet 3 of Plans.
