Oak Ave, Sanford, Fl within the historical district. The Higgins House will be a small Historical Bed and Breakfast Inn offering 3 elegant guest rooms in a restored "turn of the century" Victorian home reminiscent of a simple yet elegant era in the history of Sanford. , It is our intent that the Higgins House will promote the Sanford Historic District and the downtown business district. Cenntennial Park is surrounded by Churches and there is an abundance of green space in the general vicinity. Oak ave at this location is still a wide street, it narrows at 6th st. The parking impact of a Bed and Breakfast at 420 Oak would be minimal. Three guest rooms equal three cars. (thats at full occupancy) The neighboring property to the North, "Homes on the Park" , which takes up the remaineder of the block, has off street parking in the rear. The property to the South accross 5th st, "The Florida Hotel" has ample off street parking on the side. Across the street is Centennial park. At the present time 420 S.
