1346 ORDINANCE NO. 1346
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING SECTION 28-43 (b) OF ARTICLE III OF
CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, SAID CHAPTER BEING ENTITLED WATER,
SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL, SAID AMENDMENT
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN THE WATER AND SEWER
FEE IN PROJECTS UNDER SINGLE OWNERSHIP WITH
MULTIPLE STRUCTURES OR BUILDINGS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 28-43 (b) of Article III of Chapter 28
entitled Water, Sewers and Sewage Disposal of the Sanford City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 28-43. IMPOSED; AMOUNT.
(b) Duplex and multi-.family dwelling units which are
serviced through a central service water meter
and common sewer tap, $550.00 for the first unit
within each building or structure or for such projects
under single ownership with multiple structures or
buildings; $275.00 for the second such unit; and $137.50
for each additional unit.
Duplex and multiple-family dwelling units whereby
each unit is serviced through an individual water meter
and individual sewer tap, $550.00 per unit.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or par~s of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
