1344 ORDINANCE NO. 1344
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA°
AMENDING CHAPTER 6-1 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, TI-IE SAME BEING KNOWN AS
THE BUILDING CODE, SAID AMENDMENT ADOPTING
THE 1976 EDITION OF THE STANDARD BUILDING CODE
WITH APPENDIX I'D", AS PREPARED BY THE SOUTHERN
BUILDING CODE CONGRESS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 6-1 of Chapter 6 entitled 'IBuildingsI'
of the Sanford City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 6-1. Adoption of Standard Building Code
The Standard Building Code, 1976 Edition, and Apendix
prepared by the Southern Building Code Congress, is hereby adopted in its
entirety by the City. One (1) copy of same is filed in the office of the City
Clerk as a matter of permanent record of the City, and the matters and contents
therein are made a part of this section by reference as fully and completely as
if set forth herein, and such copy shall remain on file in said office available
for public inspection.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
