ORDINANCE NO. 1336
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
TO ANNEX WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, UPON ADOPTION OF SAID
ORDINANCE T~T CERTAIN PROPERTY CONSISTING OF
APPROXIMATELY 2.4885 ACES LYING ~ST OF AND
ABUTTING ~ST JINKINS CIRCLE IN ACCORDANCE ~TH
THE PROVISIONS OF C~PTER 171. 044, LAWS OF FLORIDA~
1975.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Sanford, Florida, a petition containing the name of the prope~y owner in the
area described hereinafter requesting annexation to the corporate area of the
City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and
WHEEAS, the Prope~y Appraiser of Seminole County, FloMda,
having ce~ified that there is one prope~y owner in the area to be annexed and
that said property owner has signed the petition for annexation, and
~EREAS, it has been determined that the prope~y descMbed
hereinafter is contiguous ~o the corporate area of the City of Sanford, Florida,
and it has fu~her been determined that ~e annexation of said prope~y ~11 not
reset in the creation of an enclave, and
~EEAS, the City of Sanford, Florida is in a position to provide
municipal services ~o the prope~y described herein, and the City Commission of
the City of Sanford, Florida deems it in the best interes~ of the City to accept said
petition and to annex said prope~y.
NOW, THEEFOE, BE IT ENACTED BY TE PEOPLE OF TE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLO~DA:
SECTION 1. That ~at certain prope~y in Seminole Co~ty, FloMda,
described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a pa~ of the
City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the voluntary annexation provisions of
Chapter 171. 044, Laws of Florida, 1975:
From the Southwest corner of Lot 1, SOUTH PINECREST,
FOURTH ADDITION, according to the Plat thereof as
recorded in Plat Book 12, Pages 42 and 43° of the Public
Records of Seminole County, Florida, run South along the
West line of said South Pinecrest, Fourth Addition, 50 feet
to the point of beginning, thence continue South along said
West line 542 feet# thence South 89° 57' 44" West 200 feet,
thence North 542 feet, thence North 89~ 57' 4411 East 200
feet to the point of beginning, containing 2. 4885 acres, more
or less.
SECTION 2. Tha~ upon ~his ordnance becoming effective, ~he
residents and prope~y owner in ~he prope~y described herein shall be endtiled
to all the rights and privileges and i~i~ies as are from time ~o ~ime granted
to residents and prope~y owners of ~e City of Sanford, Florida, and as are
f~rther provided in Chapter 171~ Laws of Florida, 1975, ~d shall fu~her be
s~jec~ ~o ~he responsibilities of residence or ownership as may from time to
~ime be determined by the governing au~ori~y of ~he City of Sanford~ Florida, and
~e provisions of said Chapter 171, Laws of Florida, 1975.
SECTION 3. That ~his ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon i~s passage and adoption.
