AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A1ViENDING ORDINANCE NO. 998 OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, THE SA1VIE BEING KNOWN AS THE SANFORD
COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION FRANCHISE ORDINANCE,
SAID AM END1VIENT AM_ENDING THE RATE SCHEDULE AS
PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 15 OF SAID ORDINANCE, SAID
A1VIENDED RATE SCHEDULE BEING ATTACHED HERE TO AND
MADE A PART HEREOF; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WI-IEREAS~ Section 15 of Ordinance 998 of the City of Sanford~
Florida~ provides that Seminole Cablevision~ Incorporated may make such charges
for its services, as are reasonable~ provided the same have the prior approval of
the City Commission~ and
WHEREASa Seminole Cablevision~ Incorporated has requested a
rate a(~ustment and has submitted to the City Commission fiscal records which,
in the opinion of the City Cornmission~ justifies a rate ad]ustrnent, the present
rates having been in existence since the adoption of the Ordinance on September 14,
1970o
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 15 of Ordinance No. 998 of the City of
Sanford, Florida~ is hereby amended as follows:
"SECTION 15. RATES TO CUSTO1VIERS. The Company may
make such charges for its services, as are reasonable, provided the
same have the prior approval of the City Commission. During the
term thereof, absent prior approval of the City, Company shall charge
fees for installation and service, both residential and commercial,
according to the schedule of subscriber charges attached hereto and
by reference made a part hereof. The Company shall not require a
customer to continue to receive or to pay for the services of the
Company any longer than the customer may desire."

SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

D. Converter Charge - At such time converters are used in the cable system
there will be a monthly service charge of $2.00 for each converter in use,
as well as a $10.00 refundable deposit for each converter in use.

2) Relocate Charge $ 7.50
3) Moving Charge (New Location Wired)

NOTE: Above rates are for exposed wiring only. Cost of underground or inside
wall installations must be handled on an individual cost basis.
