1323 ORDINANCE NO. 1323
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ARTICLE V, USE PROVISIONS, SECTION
SR-lo SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING DISTRICT,
SUB-SECTION B, CONDITIONAL USES PERMITTED, OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE BY THE ADDITION OF PARAGRAPH (4),
TO PROVIDE FOR SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR EFFECIENCE/
APARTMENTS; 1-BEDROOM HOME, OR APARTMENT;
2-BEDROOM HOME, OR APARTMENT; 3 OR MORE BEDROOM
HOME OR APARTMENT, AND TO FURTHER PROVIDE FOR
NOTIFICATION TO PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN 300 FEET
AND TO PROVIDE A FEE AS SET BY THE CITY COMMISSION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION t. That Article V of the Zoning Ordinance, Use Provisions,
Section 3, SR-1, Single-Family Residential Dwelling District, Sub-section B,
Conditional Uses Permitted, shall be amended by the addition of Paragraph (4),
as follows:
(4) Efficiency Apartments 280 sq. ft.
1-bedroom home, or apartment 460 sq.
2-bedroom home, or apartment 600 sq. ft.
3 or more bedroom home or apartment 700 sq. ft.
(a) As a condition to the granting of such conditional use
the Planning and Zoning Board shall conduct a public hearing
with notification of such public hearing to be given to all property
owners located within 300 feet of the property for which the
conditional use is being considered. The applicant for such
conditional use shall be charged a fee as may from time to time
be established by the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida.
SECTION 2. That all other provisions of said Article not in
conflict herewith shall remain in full force and effect,
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
