1322 ORDINANCE NO. 1322
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD~ FLORIDA, THE SAME BEING KNOWN AS THE
FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION CODE, SAID
AMENDMENT ADDING AN ARTICLE TO BE ENTITLED
FIRE PROTECTION CODE, SAID ARTICLE TO ADOPT
THE NATIONAL FIRE CODES, 1976 EDITION° AS PREPARED
BY THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 9 of the Code of the City of Sanford,
Florida, is hereby amended by adding an Article and Section to be numbered
as follows:
ARTICLE III. Sec. 9-21, which said Article and Section shall
read as follows:
ARTICLE III. NATIONAL FIRE CODES
Sec. 9-21. Adopted
The National Fire Codes, 1976 Edition, as prepared
by the National Fire Protection Association, is hereby
adopted, one copy of said code is filed in the Office of the
Building Official as a matter of permanent record, and the
matters and contents therein are made a part of this chapter
by reference as fully and completely as if set forth herein.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
