ORDINANCE NO. 1304
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORDo FLORIDA,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ANNEX WITHIN THE
CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AT THE EXPIRATION OF THIRTY DAYS FROM THE APPROVAL
OF SAID ORDINANCE THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY ABUTTING
U. S. HIGHWAY 17-92 AND BETWEEN AIRPORT BOULEVARD
AND THE EASTERLY EXTENSION OF LAKE MARY BOULEVARD
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 74-190#
LAWS OF FLORIDA.
WHEREAS~ there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Sanford, Florida, a petition containing the name of the proper~y owner in the
area described hereinafter requesting annexation to the corporate area of the
City of Sanford~ Florida, and requesting to be located therein; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Seminole County, Florida,
having certified that there is one property owner in the area to be annexed and that
said property owner has signed the petition for annexation~ and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said Petition and intends
to annex said area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORDo FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
hereby declares its intention to annex to and to make a part of the City of Sanford,
Florida, at the expiration of thirty days from the date of the passage of this
Ordinance~ as provided for by Chapter 74-190, Laws of Florida, 1974, that
certain property described as follows:
