AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORDo FLORIDA,
AMENDING SECTION 3-2 OF CHAPTER 3~ THE SAME BEING
THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CHAPTER OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, SAID SECTION BEING ENTITLED
HOURS AND DAYS OF SALE, SAID AMENDMENT TO EXTEND
THE CLOSING HOURS FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES
OF ANY LICENSEE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES FROM 12:00
MIDNIGHT TO 2:00 A. M.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORDo FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the portion of Chapter 3, Alcoholic Beverages,
Section 3-2, Hours and Days of Sale (a) pertaining to hours of operation is
hereby amended to read as follows:
(a) "It shall be unlawful for any intoxicating beverages, including
wine and beer, to be sold, consumed or served or be permitted to be served
or consumed, or, having been sold or served, to be allowed to remain open
in readiness for consumption on the premises of any licensee under this
chapter between the hours of 2:00 A.M. each Sunday and 8:00 A.M. on the
following Monday, and between the hours of 2:00 A. M. and 8:00 A.M. on all
other days".
SECTION 2. That all other provisions of said Chapter not in
conflict herewith shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
