Box 1778 Sanford, FL 32771 ORDINANCE NO. 1287 AN ORDINANCE OF TIrE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SETTING ASIDE THE RESERVATION FOR THE USE BY THE CITY OF SANFORD THAT CERTAIN ALLEY LYING BETWEEN 15TH STREET AND 18TH STREET AND BETWEEN LAUREL AVENUE AND FRENCH AVENUE FOR UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, on the 14th day of October° 1974, Ordinance No. 1255 was adopted, which said Ordinance closed, vacated and abandoned as a public alley in the City of Sanford, Florida, said alley being described as follows: That certain North-South alley lying between Lots 6 through 19 and Lots 25 through 38, Amended Plat of Orange Heights, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 84, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, and WHEREAS, said Ordinance reserved the use of said alley unto the City of Sanford for utility purposes, and WHEREAS, a request has been made to set aside the reservation of the use of said alley for utility purposes to enable commercial development on said vacated alley. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY TI-ZE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the reservation unto the City of Sanford, Florida for utility purposes in the above described alley be, and the same is hereby, set aside and the City does hereby disclaim for itself and the public the use of said alley for utility purposes. Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
