1239 ORDINANCE NO. 1239
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE SANFORD CITY CODE,
APPENDIX B, SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS, SECTION
III0 SUBDIVISION DESIGN STANDARDS, SECTION
310, REQUIRED PUBLIC AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS,
SUBSECTION 8, ELECTRIC SUPPLY SYSTEM.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Appendix B entitled Subdivision Regulations
of the Code of the City of Sanford, Florida is amended as
Subdivision Des~ Standards, Section 310, en~led Required ~bl~c and
O~her ~provemen~s, Subsection 8 of sa~d Section ~s hereby amended
read as follows:
8. Electric Supply System: ~ every subdivision, provision
shall be made for a satisfactory elec~r ~c supply system
through ~he cooperation of ~he appropriate supplier.
The owner or developer of any subdivision shall be re-
quoted ~o provide underground w~ng for electrical
service ~o structures and ~o provide adequate s~ree~
l~gh~ng, as approved by ~he c~ty engineer, using
concrete poles and underground service w~g.
SECTION 2. Tha~ all ord~n~ces or parts of ord~n~ces ~n
confl~c~ herewith be and ~he s~e are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. Tha~ th~s ord~ce shall become effective
~mmed~ately upon ~s passage and adoption.
