1226 ORDINANCE NO. 1226
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1165o AS AMENDED, TO
DELETE SECTION 2 OF ARTICLE IX, WHICH SAID SECTION
PROVIDES FOR PENALTIES WHICH ARE IN CONFLICT WITH
THE PENALTIES SET FORTH IN SECTION ? OF ARTICLE VI.
~VHEiD~EAS~ Ordinance No. 1165, as amended, passed and adopted
August 27, 1973, said Ordinance being generally referred to as the "Sign
Ordinancell~ and
WHEREAS~ it has been brough to the attention of the City Commission
of the City of Sanford, Florida that there are t~vo penalty provisions in said
Ordinance which are in conflict each with the other and it is necessary that
one of the penalty provisions be deleted.
NOW, THEREEFOREo BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1165 of the City of Sanford, Flo~ida~
passed and adopted August 27~ 1973~ as amended~ be and the same is hereby
amended by the deletion of Section 2 of Article IX of said Ordinance.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
