1225 ORDINANCE NO. 1225
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE MINIMUM REQUII%ED LIVING AltEA
SPECIFIED IN THE USE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE V,
SECTIONS 5, 6, ? and 14 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. Section 5, MR-l, Multiple-Family Residential Dwelling
District; Subsection D, Density Controls; Paragraph (3), For Multiple-Family
Dwellings; Subparagraph (f) Minimum required living area shall be amended
to read as follows:
aa. Efficiency apartment 400 sq. fro
bb. One bedroom apartment 700 sq.
cc. Two bedroom aparlment 800 sq.
dd. Three bedroom apartment 950 sq. ft.
ee. Four or more bedroom apartment I, 200 sq.
SECTION 2. Section 6~ MR-2, Multiple-Family Residential Dwelling
District; Subsection D~ Density Controls; Paragraph (2) For Multiple-Family
Dwellings; Subparagraph (f)~ Minimum required living area shall be amended
to read as follows:
aa. Efficiency apartment 350 sq. ft.
bb. One bedroom apartment 600 sq. fl.
cc. Two bedroom apartment 725 sq. ft.
dd. Three bedroom apartment 900 sq. ft.
ee. Four or more bedroom apartment 1,000 sq.
SECTION 3. Section 7, RMOI, Multiple-Family~ Office and
Institutional District; Subsection D~ Density Controls; Paragraph (2) For
Multiple-Family Dwellings; Subparagraph (f), Minimum required living area
shall be amended to read as follows:

aa. Efficiency apartment 350 sq. ft.
bb. One bedroom apartment 600 sq. ft.
cc. Two bedroom apartment 725 sq. ft.
dd. Three bedroom apartment 900 sq, ft.
ee. Four or more bedroom apartment I, 000,sqo ft.
SECTION 4. Section 14, MR-1L, Multiple-Family Residential
Limited Dwelling District; Subsection D~ Density Controls; Paragraph (3)
For Multiple~Family Dwellings; Subparagraph (f), Minimum required living
area shall be amended to read as follows:
aa, Efficiency apartment 450 sq. ft.
bb. One bedroom apartment 800 sq. ft.
cc. Two bedroom apartment 1,000 sq.
dd. Three bedroom apartment 1,200 sq.
ee. Four or more bedroom apartment 1,350 sq. ft
SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
