1224 ORDINANCE NO. 1224
AN ORDINANCE OF TIlE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE I, SECTION 8-3 OF
THE SANFORD CITY CODE, SAID AMENDMENT AMENDING
THE ELECTRICAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, BY THE ADOPTION OF THE CENTRAL FLORIDA
ADVISORY CODE COMMITTEE NOTICE D.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The Sanford City Code Chapter 8, Electricity,
Article I, In General, Section 8-3, National Electrical Code Adopted, shall
be amended to read as follows:
Section 8-3.
"The National Electrical Code of 1971 as prepared by the
National Fire Protection Association° as amended by Central
Florida Advisory Code Committee Notice D, is hereby adopted
as the Electric Code of the City, and one (1) copy of said Code
and one copy of this Amendment are on file in the office of the
City Clerk as a matter of permanent record of the City and
the matters and contents therein are made a part of this
Chapter by reference as fully and completely as if set forth
herein, and such copies shall remain on file in said office
available for public inspection."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
