O. ~o~ 17~8 S~o~d~ ~ 32771 ORDINANCE NO. 1220 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, VACATING THE DEDICATION OF A PARK AND REAFFIRM- ING THE DEDICATION OF STREETS IN A SMALL PARK, SAID PARKS BEING SITUATED IN THAT CERTAIN SUB- DIVISION NAMED REPLAT OF SANORA UNITS 1 & 2, ACCORDING TO PLAT THEREOF AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 17, PAGES 11 AND 12, PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, WHEREAS# J. BRAILEY ODHAM and LOUISE T, ODHAM are the owners of certain lands in Sanford, Seminole County, Florida, to-wit: Replat of Sanora Units 1 & 2, Plat Book 17, Pages 11 and 12, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida; and WHEREAS, on the 8~h day of March, t972, J. BRAILEY ODHAM and LOUISE To ODHAM dedicated said lands and plat for the uses and purposes thereon expressed and the streets and parks to the perpetual use of the Public] and WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that fine larger park referred to herein not be dedicated to lhe Public, but rather that it be reserved to the use of the owners of the lots within the subdivision referred to herein; and WHEREAS, Chapter 167.09, Florida Statutes (1971) provides that subsequent to the acceptance of the dedication of lands by a city commission, said commission may vacate the dedication; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANDORD, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City of Sanford, Florida, does hereby vacate its acceptance of the dedication of the larger park referred to herein, said park being located East of Sanora Boulevard and Matthew Drive and West of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, less fine East fifty (50,) feet thereof adjacent to fine railroad to be used for drainage purposes, said park being situated and designated as a park in the Replat of Sanora Units 1 & 2, Plat Book 17, Pages 11 and 12, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, and the City or Sanford, Florida, does hereby surrender all of its right, title and interest in and to that portion of said dedicated park as specified herein. Section 2o The City of Sanford, Florida, does hereby reaffirm its acceptance of the dedication or the streets and the small westernmost park specified herein, said streets and park being situated in Replat of Sanora Units 1 & 2, Plat Book 17, Pages 11 and 12, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
