ORDINANCE NO 1216
AN ORDINANCE OF T[-IE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WIT[IN TI-IE CORPORATE
AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA
DESCRIBED HEREINAFTER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 73-620, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
1973.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Sanford~ Florida, a petition containing the name of the property owner
in the area described hereinafter requesting annexation to the corporate
area of the City of Sanford0 Florida, and requesting to be included therein;
and
WHEREAS~ the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, having
certified that there is one property owner in the area to be annexed and that
the said property owner has signed the petition for annexation~ and
WHEREAS° the City Commission of the City of Santotrio Florida,
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petition and to
annex said area;
NOW, THEREFORE° BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County~ Florida,
described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part
of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the terms of Chapter 73-620,
Laws of Florida, 1973:

Begin at a point on the Easterly line of an abandoned 50 foot railroad
right-of-way which is 495 feet S of the BI line of Section 2, Township 20
South, Range 30 East, run thence Southwesterly along the Easterly
line of said railroad right-of-way to its intersection with the Northerly
right-of-way line of Airport Boulevard, thence Northwesterly along the
Northerly right~of-way line of Airport Boulevard to its intersection
with the Westerly right-of-way line of said railroad right-of-way,
thence Northeasterly along the Westerly right-of-way line of said
railroad right-of-way to a point West of Beginning, East to Beginning.
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective, the residents
and property owner in the above described annexed area shall be entitled to all the
rights and privileges and immunities as are from time to time granted to residents
and proper~y owners of the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are fu~her provided
in Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973, and shall fu~her be subject to the
responsibilities of residence or ownership as may be from time to ~e determined
by the governing authority of the City o~ Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of
said Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973.
SECTION 3. That ~his ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the
foregoing Ordinance No. 1216, PASSED and ADOPTED by the City
Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 22nd day of
April, 1974, was POSTED at the front door of the City Hall in
the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 23rd day of April, 1974.
