ORDINANCE NO. 1215
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN TE CORPO~TE
AEA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLO~DA, TE AEA
DESCRIBED HEREINAFTER tN ACCORDANCE ~TH TE
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER ?8-820, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
1973,
WEEAS, there has been filed .with the City Clerk of the City
of Sanford, Florida, a petition coatain~g the n~es of the prope~y owners
in the area described hereinafter requesting amexation to the corporate
area of the City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included therein;
and
WEREAS, the T~ Assessor of Seminole County, Florida~ having
ce~ified that there are two property owners in the area to be annexed and that
the two prope~y owners have signed the petition for annexation, and
WHEEAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petition and to
annex said area;
NOW, THEEFOE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that ce~ain area in Sem~ole County, Florida,
described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part
of the City of S~ford, Florida, pursuit to ~e terns of Chapter 78-620,
Laws of Florida, 1978:
Lots 4, 5, 6 and V, Block 1, of FLO~ EIGHTS, according
to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 19, ~blic
Records of Seminole County, Florida.

FLORIDA
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective, the
residents and proper~y owners in the above described annexed area shall be
entitled to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are from time to
time granted to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford, Florida°
and as are further provided in Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 19730 and
shall further be subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as
may from time to time be determined by the governing authority of the City of
Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 73-620~ Laws of Florida,
1973.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective imn~ediately
upon its passage and adoption.

in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 23rd day of April, 1974.
