ORDINANCE NO. 1212
AN ORDINANCE OF T~ CITY OF SANFO~, FLO~DA,
ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE CORPO~TE
AREA OF T~ CITY OF SANFORD, FLO~DA, THE AREA
DESGIBED ~INAFTER IN ACCORDANCE ~TH T~
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 73-620, LAWS OF FLO~DA,
1973.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of S~ford, Florida, a petition containing the names of the property owners
in the area described hereinafter requesting amexation to the corerate
area of the City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included therein;
and
W~AS, the Tax Assessor of Seminole County~ Florida, having
ce~ified that ~here are eight prope~y owners in the area to be annexed and
that five of said property owners have signed the petition for a~exation, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
has deemed it in the best interest of the City
annex said area;
NOW, T~FO~, BE IT ENACTED BY T~ PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. Tha~ that certain area in Seminole County, Florida,
described as follows be ~d the same is hereby annexed to ~d made a part
of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the terms of Chapter 73-620,
Laws of Florida, 1973:

SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners in the above described annexed area
shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are
from time to time granted to residents and property owners of the City
of Sanford~ Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter 73-620~
Laws of Florida, 1973, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities
of residence or ownership as may be from time to time determined by the
governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions
of said Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
