AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN TIrE CORPORATE
AREA OF T~ CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, T~ A~A
DESC~BED ~INAFTER IN ACCO~ANCE WITH T5 Q~'-
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 73-620, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
1973.
WHE~AS, there has been filed with ~he City Clerk of ~he City
of S~ford, Florida, a petition containing ~he name of ~e property owner
in the area described hereinaffer requesting annexation to the corporate
area of the City of Sanford~ Florida, and requesting to be included therein;
and
~EREAS, ~he T~ Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, having
certified that there is one property owner in the area fo be annexed and
that lhe said property owner has signed the petition for annexation, and
W~REAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
has deemed i~ in the best interest of the City ~o accept said petition and ~o
a~ex said area;
NOW, THE~FO~, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLO~DA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole Co~ty, Florida,
described as follows be and the same is hereby ~nexed to and made a part
of ~he City of Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the ~erms of Chapter 73-620,
Laws of Florida, 1973:
The E 109.30 fee~ of Lots 38, 39 and 40 Amended Pla~
of D~id Park as recorded in Pla~ Book 7, Page 5,
Public Records of Seminole County, Florida. Also the
S 56.3 fee~ of Lot 40 (less the E 109.3 fee~) and also
begin 949.70 feet S of the NW corner; ~n E 643.90 feet
N 256.70 fee~; E 855.70 feet; S 470.8 feet; W 1583.40 feet
to ~he E R/W l~e of U S 17-92; thence N 24.30 feet E along
said R/W 237.06 feet ~o beginning. All located in Section 11
and 12, Township 20 S, Range 30 E.
and
Lots 1 through 14 and Lots 19 through 22, Park View,
2nd Addition, according to the Plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book 4, Page 5, Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida.
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owner in the above described annexed area
shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are
from time to time granted to residents and property owners of the City
of Sinford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter 73-620,
Laws of Florida, 1973, and shall further be subject to the responsib~ities
of residence or ownership as may be from time to t~e detemined by
~e governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions
of said Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage ~d adoption.
