AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD~ FLORIDA,
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD~
FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER
1o 1973 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 80, 1974.
~VHEREAS~ the City Manager has prepared and submitted a budget
of revenues and expenditures o£ the City of San£ord, Florida, £or the £iscal
year beginning October 4 1~73 and ending September 30, 19740 in accord-
ance with the Charter of the City of San~ordo Florida, and upon consideration
thereof° said budget of revenues and expenditures was adopted and approved
as the Budget of said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1973 and
ending September 30° 1~73~ and
V~HEREAS, the City Commissioners of the City o£ Sanford are
the opinion that ~he several items of expenditures for said fiscal year
ginning October 4 1D?3 and ending September 30, 197zt are reasonableJ
necessary and proper for the administration of the affairs of said City and
the proper conduct of sa~d
NOV~ THEREFORE~ BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD~ FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. Tha~ said budget of revenues and expenditures o~
said City of Sanford, Florida for the fiscal year beginning October l0
and ending September 30~ 1S?~o approved by Resolution of the City Corn-
mission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 10th day of September°
A. D. 1973, a copy of which is attached hereto and hereby made a part
this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby ratified~ approved, confirmed
accepted and adopted.
SECTION Z. Tha~ the said estimates of expenditures be and they
are hereby established and £ixed as appropriation~ ~rorn the revenues to
be derived by said City of Sanford, Florida from taxes to be levied and
collected, and from all other sources° for the various purposes as set
forth in said estimates for the said period beginning October 10 !973 and
ending September 30, 1974.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same .are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall become effective October
1o 1973.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COM1ViISSION OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET
OF REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1o 1973 AND ENDING SEPT-
EMBER 30, 1974; AND CAPITAL BUDGET.
~VHEI{EAS, in accordance with Article VI of the Chaz'ter, as
mended, 0f the City of Sanford, Florida° the City 1V~anager of the City of
Sanford, Florida has made and submitted to the City Commission of the
City of Sanford, Florida an estimate for budget of revenues and expenditures
of the City of Sanfordo Florida° for the fiscal year beginning October 1~ 1973
and ending September 30, 1974, and a Capital budget, such est~r~ates or
budget having been made with paz~icular application to the various depa~-%x~/ents
of the City, a true copy of ~vhich is hereto attached and by reference made a
pa~t of this 1Resolution; and

budgets prepared by the City 1V[anager has been carefully considered by' this
Commission,
NO~V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of the City of Sanford, Florida° that said budget as prepared and submitted
by the City Manager to the City Commission be and the same is hereby adopted
as the budget for the City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning
October 1o 1973 and ending September 30, 1974; and the Capital budget as
prepared and submitted by the City Manager to the City Commission be and
the same is hereby adopted.
BE IT FURTP]]ER RESOLVED that upon collection of any revenues
of said City, the City Clerk shall allocate from each dollar collected and
received the several mounts to the respective funds for purposes for
which the same are hereby authorized and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become
effective as of the first day of October, A.D. 1973.
