AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A1VIENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1097, SAID ORDINANCE
BEING DESIGNATED AS APPENDIX A IN THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, 1973, AND
SAID ORDINANCE BEING KNOWN AS TH]E ZONING
REGULATION OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
SAID A1VIEND1ViENT A1VIENDING SR-1 (SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DWELLING) DISTRICT AS TO DENSITY
CONTROLS OF MINIMUM REQUIRED LIVING AREA AS
TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Subsection C of Section 3 of Article 5
of the Zoning Regulations of the City of Sanford be, and the same is
hereby amended as follows:
C. Density Controls. The following yard, density and
height of building requirements shall be observed
except as provided in Article VIII.
(1) Minimum required lot area: a. single family residence,
6,000 sq. ft.
b. two family residence,
7,500 sq. ft.
(2) Minimum required lot width: 60 feet
(3) Minimum required front yard: 25 feet
(4) Minimum required rear yard: 20 feet
(5) Minimum required side yard: 7.5 feet
(6) Minimum required living area: a. single family residence,
700 sq. ft.
b. two family residence,
700 sq. ft.
(7) Maximum lot coverage: 40 percent
(8) Maximum structure height: 35 feet
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
