AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
A1VLENDING THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID SUBDIVISION
REGULATIONS BEING OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED AS
APPENDIX B IN THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, 1973, SAID AMENDMENT TO ADD A PROVISION
TO SECTION III OF THE REGULATIONS TO REQUIRE
MAINTENANCE BOTH FOR PUBLIC AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS
SPECIFIED IN SECTION 310 OF SECTION III.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 310 of Section III of the Subdivision
Regulations being officially designated as Appendix B, Code of the City
of Sanford, Florida, 19730 be and the same is hereby amended to add a.
sub-section to require maintenance bonds for the maintenance of public and
other improvements:
SECTION III
Section 310: Required Public and other Improvements
Every sub-divider shall be required to install the following
public and other improvements in accordance with the
conditions and specifications as follows:
tl. Maintenance bonds: In the event a sub-divider
is required to install improvements as set forth
in this section, a maintenance bond shall be
required for the maintenance of said improvements.
Upon completion of the work and approval by the
City Engineer, the work will be accepted subject to
a maintenance bond being posted by the sub-divider
in an amount equal to twenty percent (20%) of the
construction costs of said improvements. The bond
shall be payable to the City Clerk and furnished by
a bonding company approved by the City Attorney
for one year from the date of inspection by the
City Engineer.
SECTION 2. Except as amended herein, the Subdivision
Regulations shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective the
10th day of September , 1973.
