AN ORDINANCE OF TI-IE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING TI-IAT PORTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 987~
SAID ORDINANCE BEING REFERRED TO AS SUBDIVISION
REGULATIONS, SAID AM END1ViENT BEING WITH REFERENCE
TO THE MAINTENANCE BOND REQUIRE1VIENTS, THE PART-
ICULAR PORTION OF SAID ORDINANCE TO BE A1VIENDED
BEING SECTION III SUBDIVISION DESIGN STANDARDS,
SECTION 811 STREET AND DRAINAGE SPECIFICATIONS°
MISCELLANEOUS° PARAGRAPH D.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 811, Subsection D under the Miscellaneous
Section appearing on Page 41 of said Ordinance is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"D. Maintenance
Upon completion of the work and approval by the City
Engineer~ the work will be accepted subject to a
maintenance bond being posted by the contractor or
owner, in the amount of a sum equal to twenty (20%)
percent of the construction costs of all streets in the
subdivision~ made payable to the City Clerk, furnished
by a bonding company approved by the City Attorney#
for one (1) year from date of inspection."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
