ORDINANCE NO. 1128
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING ~THIN TE CORPORATE
AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, TE 2EA
DESCRIBED EREINAFTER IN ACCORDANCE WITH TE
PROVISIONS OF C~PTER 57-1815, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
ACTS OF 1957.
WEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Sanford, Florida, a petition containing the names of the majority of the property
owners in the area described hereinafier requesting amexalion to lhe corporate
area of the City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and
WHEREAS, said petition was duly certified to the Tax Assessor of
Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts
of 195% and the certification of the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida,
as lo the sufficiency of such petition p~suant to the terms of said Act received;
and
WEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sagord~ Florida has
deemed it in the besl interest of the City lo accept said petition and to annex said
area;
NOW, TEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY TE PEOPLE OF TE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County, Florida,
described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part
of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuani lo the terms of Chapter 57-~815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957:

and property owners in the above described amexed area shall be entitled to all
the rights and privileges and immunities as are from t~e to time granted to
residents and property owners of the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are further
provided in Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shah f~ther be
subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as may be from time
t~e determined by ~e governing auihorily of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the
provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
