ORDINANCE NO. 1127
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AN~XING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE CORPORATE
AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA
DESCRIBED ~REINAFTER IN ACCORDANCE ~TH THE
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 57-1815, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
ACTS OF 1957.
WHEREAS, there has been filed wRh the City Clerk of the City of
S~ford, Florida, a petition containing the name of the property owner in the
area described hereinafter requesting ~nexation to the corporate area of the
City of Sanford, Florida, ~d requesting to be included ~erein; and
WHEREAS, said petition was duly certified to ~he T~ Assessor of
Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts
of 1957, and the certification of the T~ Assessor of Seminole County, Florida,
as to the sufficiency of such petition pursuant to the terms of said Act received;
and
%EREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, has
deemed i~ in the best interest of the City to accept said petition and to annex said
area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY T~ PEOPLE OF T~ CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole Co~ty, Florida,
described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part
of the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuit to the terms of Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957:

Township 20 South, Range 30 East, run North 72c 43' West
1307o 2 feet to center of U S Highway 17-92, thence Northerly
along center line of Highway 411.5 feet thence 71' 41' East
1133 feet thence South along section line 450.17 feet to Point
of Beginning.
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective, the
residents and property owner in the above described annexed area shall be
entitled to all the rights and privileges and imnlunities as are from time to time
granted to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford, Florida, and as
are further provided in Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and
shall further be subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as may.
be from time to time determined by the governing authority or the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of
1957.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
