1095 ORDINANCE NO. 1095
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 771 OF SAID CITY, AS
AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN
WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN THE
DISTRICTS DELINEATED BELOW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 771 of the City of Sanford, Florida,
passed and adopted February 26, 1962, as amended, said ordinance being the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida, regulating
and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water,
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby
mended as follows:
(a) That that property described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning 51.6 feet West and 1468 feet South of the North 1/4
Section post of Section 26, Township 19 South, Range 30 East,
run East 330 feet North to Lake Monroe, Northwesterly along
lake to a point North of beginning, thence South to beginning;
less road in Sections 23 and 26, Township 19 South, Range
30 East,
be and the same is hereby placed in C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial)
District.
(b) That that property described as follows, m-wit:
All of Blocks 1, iN and 2N in Tiers 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 and
vacated portion of Pomegranite Avenue North of Fulton Street,
vacated portion of Mulberry Avenue North of Water Street, and
vacated portion of Water Street West of Mulberry Avenue in the
Town of Sanford; and
All land lying North of Block 2N in Tiers 17 and 18 and South
of road in Sections 23 and 26, Township 19 South, Range 30 East;
and
All land lying between Tamarind Avenue and Jessamine Avenue
and North of Block 2N in Sections 23 and 26, Township 19
South, Range 30 East; and
Beginning 28,t feet East of South 1/4 Section post of Section 23,
Township 19 8outh, Range 80 East, run East 295.5 feet North
to Lake Monroe, Northwesterly along lake to a point North of
beginning, thence South to beginning, less road in Section
Township 19 South, Range 80 East; and
The East 830 feet of the West 61`1 feet of the NE 1/,t North of
St. Gertrude Avenue, less the North 804 feet of the East 84.5
feet in Section 26, Township 19 South, Range 30 East,
be and the same is hereby placed in R~ 3 (Multiple Family Dwelling)
Dist~ct.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
