ANNEX~G TO ~D INCL~G WITHIN ~E CORPORATE
AREA OF ~E CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREAS
DESCRBED HEREINAFTER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 57-1815, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
ACTS OF 1957.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Sanford, Florida, petitions containing the names of property owners in the
areas described hereinafter, requesting annexation to the corporate area
of the City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included' therein; and
WHEREAS, said petitions were duly certified to the Tax Assessor
of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957, and the certifications of the Tax Assessor of Seminole County,
Florida as to the sufficiency of such petitions pursuant to the terms of said
Act received; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petitions and to
annex said areas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That those certain areas in Seminole County, Florida,
described as follows, to-wit:
Lots 6 through 10, Block 2; Lots 1 through 5, Block
3, ROSALIND HEIGHTS, according to plat thereof as
recorded in the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida; and
Begin 430 feet South 24° 30' West of a point 949.7 feet South
of the NW corner of Section 12, Township 20 South, Range
30 East; at a point on the Easterly right of way line of State
Road 15 and 600, thence run South 64° 30' East 664.5 feet,
thence run East to a point 1499.6 feet East of the West line
of said Section 12, thence run North to the SE corner of the
North 1163.8 feet of the West 1499.6 feet of said Section 12,
thence run West 1583.4 feet to the Easterly right of way line
of said State Road 15 and 600, ttlence run South 24° 30' West
along said right of way to the point of beginning; less begin-
ning at a point 430 feet South 24° 30' West of a point 949.7

feet South of the Northwest corner on the East right of way
line of U.S. 17-92 (S. R. 600), run South 64° 30' East 400
feet; North 73.12 feet; North 64° 30' West 368.3 feet to
right of way; South 24° 30' West on right of way 66 feet to
beginning,
be and the same are hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Sanford,
Florida, pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of
1957.
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective, the
residents and property owners in the above described annexed areas shall
be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities as are from
time to time granted to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and as are furtherprovided in Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities of residence
or ownership as may be from time to time determined by the governing
authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter
57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

CERTIFICATE
I, H. N. Tamm, Jr., City Clerk of the City of Sanford,
Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the
foregoing Ordinance No. 1088, PASSED and ADOPTED by the City
Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the llth day of
September, 1972, was POSTED at the front door of the City Hall
on the 13th day of September, 1972.
