ORDINANCE NO. 1277
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ANNEX WITHIN THE
CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AT THE EXPIRATION OF THIRTY DAYS FROM THE APPROVAL
OF SAID ORDINANCE THAT CERTAIN PROFERTY LYING
BETWEEN PEAR AVENUE AND PEACH AVENUE AND BETWEEN
EIGHTEENTH STREET AND NINETEENTH STREET, SAID
PROPERTY BEING DESCRIBED AS LOTS 3 AND 4, BLOCK 9,
PINE LEVEL SUBDIVISION, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT
THEREOF RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 6~ PAGE 37, PUBLIC
RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 74-190, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
1974.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Sanford, Florida, a petition containing the names of ~he property owners in the
area described hereinafter requesting annexation to the corporate area of the
City of Sanfords Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and
WHEREAS° the Tax Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, having
certified that there are two property owners in the area to be annexed and that
the said property owners have signed the petition for annexation, and
WHEREAS, the CRy Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said Petition and intends
to annex said area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
hereby declares its intention to annex to and to make a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida, at the expiration of thirty days from the date of the passage
of this Ordinance, as provided for by Chapter 74-190, Laws of Florida, 1974,
that certain property described as follows:
Lots 3 and 4, Block 9, PIIVE LEVEL SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 6~
Page 37, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
