AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFO~, FLORIDA,
AN~XING TO AND INCLUDING ~THIN THE CORPO~TE
A~A OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, T~T
PROPERTY LYING SOUTH OF T~ EASTERLY EXTENSION
OF PI~ OAK DRIVE AND EAST OF THE SOUTHERLY
EXTENSION OF OHIO AVENUE IN ACCORDANCE WITH
T~ PROVISIONS OF C~PTER 73-620, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
1973.
WHE~AS, there has been filed ~h the City Clerk of the City
of Sanford, Florida, a petifion conta~g the nines of fhe prope~y owners
in ~e area described hereinafter requesting annexation to the co~porafe area
of ~e City of Sanford, Florida, ~d request~g ~o be included therein; and
WHEREAS, the T~ Assessor of Seminole COunty, Florida, having
certified that there are two property owners in the area to be annexed and ~hat
said property owners have signed the petition for annexation, and
WHE~AS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Flo~da,
has deemed i~ in the best interest of the City ~o accepf said petition and to
annex said area;
NOW, T~FORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF T~
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. Thaf tha~ certain area ~ Seminole Co~ty, Flo~da,
described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of
the City of Sanford, Florida, pursuanl to ~he ~erms of Chapter 73-620, Laws of
Florida, 1973:
The N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 17,
Township 20 South, Range 31 East, Seminole Co~ty,
Florida.
SECTION 2. That upon this ordinance becoming effective, the
residents and property owners in the property described herein shall be
entitled to all the rights and privileges and immunities as are from time to
time granted to residents and property owners of the City of Sanford, Florida,
and as are further provided in Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida, 1973, and
shall further be subject to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as
may from time to time be determined by the governing authority of the City of
Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 73-620, Laws of Florida,
1973.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
